The word “sustainability” has been one of the most increasingly significant principles of policies, environment, research and development for the past decade. Despite the ambiguous definition of sustainability, the term has somehow become a word that can be adapted with almost every happening around us from environmental solutions, economic planning, and policies structure to community growth.
Nevertheless, the ambiguity of “sustainability” makes it an appealing principle in any organization. It transcends beyond scales and concepts or measurements. This inclusive transition platform of sustainability blends with other disciplines and values from various dimensions. Sustainability may not offer a perfect solution, but it offers a vision, perhaps an optimistic glimpse of our future.

Leo Tolstoy once said that everyone thinks of changing the world but no one thinks of changing himself. Could a personal change make a difference in the world around us?
Perhaps this question lies in the boundary of us and not others. Nevertheless, why do others inspire us to change them instead of changing ourselves? Imagine scenarios that are happening around us; poverty, discrimination, racial issues, injustice.
We thought of making changes by looking for ways to improve others but not ourselves.
Poverty inspires us to give donation through charity but not by a token of empathy.
Discrimination inspires us to be aware through campaigns but not through actions.
Racial issues inspire us to treat everyone equally as friend but not as a race.
Injustice inspires us to fight for truth but not defend our stand.
It is not selfish for anyone to change himself instead of others as changes begin from a person before spreading out to a community. Words may speak louder than actions but thoughts of mind are the root of changes.

Just because of mischievous
he was warranted
Just because of suspicious
he was expelled
Just because of disagreement
he was blocked
Just because of enforcement
he was broken
Just because of war
he was gaoled
Just because of cleverness
he was trapped
Just because of worries
he was sacrificed
Just because of misunderstanding
he was misunderstood
Just because of pleadings
he was never a coward
Just because of rejection
he was separated
Just because of power
he was preyed
Just because of thunder
he became a stalker
Just because of gaps
he was spacious
Just because of religion
he wants to be destroyed
Just because of everything
We are whom we are today.
