Welcome to the first post of ‘Malaysia Inside Out’!

As a newbie blogger, this site will grow and evolve with my blogging experience, and as I learn more about Malaysia. I started blogging when I joined the Citizen Journalism course in Penang and its quickly becoming a habit. My first blog is more of a travelogue, where I share my experiences about my life in Asia with friends and family. With this blog, I’ll be focusing more on Malaysian issues, as I try to get to grips with them. I’ll be coming from a perspective as a non-Malaysian, trying to make issues hitting the news in Malaysia more accessible to outsiders and to bring into the discussions some of the issues and events making the news back home in the UK.
