Increase in dengue fever case at Taman Cahaya, Masai

Taman Cahaya, Masai has been experiencing an increase in the number of dengue fever cases over the last few months.

Since January till now, there are already thirteen reported cases as compared to forty-five cases reported in the whole of last year

This has prompted the residents committee to organise an ‘anti-dengue’  community programme in getting the residents together to clear-up all potential mosquitoes breeding ground here yesterday.

The resident committee chairperson, Ahmad Talhah Abdul Rashid said the increase in dengue fever cases in this housing area is indeed worrying and it has prompted the committee to address the problem quickly.

The ‘anti-dengue’ community programme was officiated by the village headman of Kampong Kopok Baru.
