New Grand Seiko Timepieces Unveiled at New Year Party

AWG Fine Watches hosted a Grand Seiko New Year Party to commemorate with the unveiling of Grand Seiko and Astron latest collection at the Garden Café, Mid Valley Megamall on 21 Jan 2016.

The evening started with emcee Chelsea Chil introducing the celebrity guests who included, among others, international supermodel Amber Chia, Malaysia top male supermodel Wilson Tan, Miss Chinese Cosmos Southeast Asia 2013 Bianca Beatrice and Miss Malaysia World 2015 second runner up Melinda Lee.

AWG Fine Watches executive director C.H. Liow delivered his welcome speech and this was followed by the traditional Japanese sake “Kagami-Biraki” barrel opening ceremony.

Also present were Thong Sia Group of Companies managing director William Hui, Thong Sia Sdn Bhd general manager Michael Lim, AWG Fine Watches general manager Raymond Chu and World of Watches associate publisher Kelvin Tan.

Several models from Amber Chia Academy had everyone’s attention as they made their way down the staircase from the upper level carrying the brand’s new timepieces to show to the guests.

It was an excellent evening of celebration and watch appreciation with the guests enjoying good company and conversations as they sipped Hakutsuru Sake and other varieties, and checking out the luxury timepieces.
