Haval Malaysia recently held a handover ceremony to reward popular Malaysian actress Rozita Che Wan, popularly known as Che Ta, with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) Haval H2 as a token of appreciation for being the brand’s ambassador since October last year.
Go Auto executive director Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamil said the firm was proud to have Che Ta as Haval Malaysia’s ambassador. He also thanked the actress for the latter’s willingness to front the brand. He said Go Auto hopes Che Ta would enjoy her new SUV and experience its power.
Che Ta said she did not expect to receive the car registration number ‘RQ2174’ that looks quite similar to her name Rozita.
The 44-year-old mother-of-three said Haval is not an unusual name to her as she is aware of the China-made SUV since 2015.
“At the time, Haval still used the label ‘Great Wall Motors’ before recently changing its name to Haval. I’ve been following Haval’s development and updates since I was appointed its ambassador,” said Che Ta, adding that the H2 and another model H1 are of really satisfactory quality.
The price of a Haval SUV starts as low as RM89,950 for manual variant, inclusive of GST and insurance, while for premium variant it is priced at RM 101,950. It is much more cheaper than other SUV competitors.
All the features available in other SUVs on the market, H2 has it too – from six airbags, sunroof, ABS, ESP, TPMS, electronic parking brake (EPB), six-way electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, reverse camera, multimedia system, daylight and more.
H2 comes with a five-year warranty or 150,000km mileage, while H1 comes with a seven-year warranty with service centres available nationwide.
Established in 2014, Go Auto was appointed by the Great Wall Motor (GWM) of China as the exclusive manufacturer and distributor for Haval SUV and GWM in Malaysia and the Asean market.
