Felicia Soong, Cindy Ng win Mrs Malaysia Universe 2018 crowns

Felicia Soong Suet Wan, 38, a consultant aesthetic physician and the mother of two children was crowned the new Mrs Malaysia Universe 2018 held at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel on 26 May 2018.

Soong worked hard to overcome nine other contestants from all over the country to achieve a satisfying and successful triumph.

Apart from clinching the Mrs Malaysia Universe title, she also bagged three subsidiary titles – Most Outstanding Presentation, Most Congeniality and Best Supportive Husband.

Soong studied medicine and obtained her MB ChB, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at University of Manchester. She is a certified LCP holder (Letter of Credentialing and Privileging) issued by Ministry of Health, Malaysia to practise aesthetic medicine.

Andrea Angelina Dass A/P Sugumaran was adjudged as first runner-up. The second runner-up title went to Grace Tan Sock Ying, May Tong Mee Lai was titled as the third runner-up, while, Chloe Chiew Sze Sze was named as the fourth runner-up.

At the same event, Cindy Ng Hooi Kon, a 42-year-old businesswoman and mother of two, won Mrs Elite Malaysia Universe 2018. She topped nine other contestants to clinch the crown.

Ng also bagged three other subsidiary titles – Most Outstanding Presentation, Most Gorgeous and Most Popular.

Runners up were Michelle Wong Ai Gait who came second and Ammetta Kaur Malhorta placed third, Lau Irene fourth, with Ho Mei Yee finishing fifth.

Both Felicia Soong and Cindy Ng, each took home a prize package that included RM3,000 cash and prizes from the pageant’s sponsors worth RM92,000

Four ambassadors for Mrs Malaysia Universe 2018 were also crowned. Audris Kok was named Global Ambassador, Alice Lim was Community Ambassador, Fanny Lee was Image Ambassador and Jax Lee Xiao Hong was Fitness Ambassador.

The pageant, organised by Madam Lim Siew Cheng, founder of Yinzi Beauty Pageants and co-organised by SS Productions & Marketing was opened to Malaysian married women aged 25 and above, and divided into two groups. Group A (age 25 to 40) contestants competed for the title of Mrs Malaysia Universe while in Group B (age 41 to 65) contestants competed for Mrs Elite Malaysia Universe.

The license holder for Mrs Malaysia Universe and Mrs Elite Malaysia Universe is owned by ERM Marketing Sdn. Bhd.
