The body of a teenage girl was found stuffed in a suitcase behind a car workshop at Ukay Perdana in Hulu Klang today.
Ampang Jaya OCPD ACP Abdul Jalil Hassan said the fully dressed girl was believed to have been strangled because of bruises around her neck.
He does not think the girl is Malaysian because she did not have any BCG injection scar on her arms. Police also found a paper in the suitcase with an Indonesia phone number written on it.
Jalil said the body was discovered by a workshop employee at about 3.30pm while riding his motorcycle on his way to work.
He came upon the huge suitcase and became curious. He kicked it a few times before deciding to open it.
Police believe that the medium-sized girl was killed elsewhere. The suitcase is believed to belong to her.
Jalil urged anyone missing a teenage daughter or relative or friend to report to the police.
