In just 60 seconds, many events could take place. You can water your plant in 60 seconds, make yourself a cup of coffee in 60 seconds or win yourself RM 500,000 in just 60 seconds. No kidding. RM 500,000 in just 60 seconds!
Astro, in an attempt to win the hearts of many has been constantly churning out interactive and informative programs for its customers. As such, following the success of an American game show of the same concept, Astro is proud to announce its latest addition of one of the coolest game shows in town – Anda Ada 60 Saat (US title: Minute to Win It).
“We try to follow as much off the original show, which is currently being broadcast in the US, but we also pick and choose some of the games for our program later to suit the Malaysian taste,” said Mr Nizam, Astro Warna’s Content Manager.
“The games featured here are very easy to complete by using easy-to-find household items; and we’re confident that it’ll draw in the energetic crowd. There are samples of challenges available online for the participants to practice at home. Besides that, aspiring participants can upload their own practices online for others to see,” announced Nizam during a recent press conference at the Astro Measat Broadcast Centre in Bukit Jalil.
A total of RM 500,000 in cash will be given out if the contestants successfully complete 10 sets of games less than 60 seconds each. Contestant will be given three chances to complete each challenge. Fail to do so, contestant will be eliminated.
For those who wish to try out their luck can do so by participating in the audition at Dewan Sri Putra, Stadium Bukit Jalil on the 16 and 17 of October from 9am till 6pm. Participants are required to bring along a photocopy of their identification card, two recent 4R photographs of themselves (profile and waist-length). Participants must be at least 18 years old and above and is able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia. The audition is open to all Malaysians only.
