Forty roads in the capital will be closed in stages from 5am on Sunday to make way for the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010.
The race will flag off and end at Dataran Merdeka.
The affected roads are:

Hishamuddin roundabout to the slip road to Jalan Travers
Jalan Tun Sambanthan
Jalan Syed Putra
Jalan Lingkaran Tengah
Jalan Dewan Bahasa
Jalan Loke Yew to Jalan Cheras
Jalan Tun Razak to the slip road to Jalan Bukit Bintang
Jalan Sultan Ismail
Jalan Raja Chulan
Jalan P. Ramlee
Jalan Yap Kwan Seng
Jalan Tun Razak
Kepong roundabout to Jalan Kuching
Segambut roundabout to Jalan Duta
Jalan Langgak Tunku
Jalan Tun Ismail
Jalan Sultan Salehuddin
Dato Onn roundabout
Jalan Raja Laut
Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman
Kampung Pandan roundabout
Kuala Lumpur traffic chief ACP Rusli Mohd Noor said the roads would be closed in stages 15 minutes before the race started and reopened at noon.
However, he said the roads around Dataran Merdeka would be closed from Saturday.
He said 350 traffic policemen and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers would be deployed to regulate traffic flow.
The marathon is jointly organised by Standard Chartered Bank, DBKL and the Federal Territories Amateur Athletics Association.
