Posted on 24 October 2011 by Lim Boo Seng

Penangnites took time out last sunday evening to gather at the Esplanade Speakers’ Square to show solidarity and support for PPSMI.

PAGE (Parents Action Group for Education) is appealing to the Government to let PPSMI be an option for science and maths to be taught in English.

According to Paul Seah, PAGE Penang chapter, the crowd turnout was encouraging and positive.

PAGE members took turn to speak to the attentive and supportive crowd.

An elderly man could not resist and unschedulely “stole the limelight” to address his disgust at the Government for abolishing the PPSMI.
