Another soup kitchen for the poor in Penang

Another soup kitchen for the poor in Penang

Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng officially launched a soup kitchen located at 16 Halaman Arffin, Penang, yesterday.

Starting in January 2010 with just fifteen packets of food, Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) in Penang was initiated by Patsy Gooi, a long-time student of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and the outlet manager of Kechara Paradise Penang.

Undeterred by this modest start, Patsy went the extra mile to look for more homeless clients on the streets of Georgetown.
