It was irresponsible approach taken by authorities when the traffic light at the junction of Jalan Tanjung Tokong was out of order during the peak hours in Saturday night.
Instead of putting police personnel to handle the traffic, the authorities choose to use cones to direct traffic.
Concerned authorities should have been more vigilant and proactive in taking action for the sake of road users safety.
