Hindraf: Land grabbing on the rise

PENANG – In a press conference, after the Kampung Boundary eviction protest, Hindraf spokesperson, N. Ganeson, warned
that land grabbing has become rampant in Malaysia.

Hindraf Makkal Sakthi, threw their support behind the villagers of Kampung Boundary 5, who are facing impending eviction.
Their homes will be demolished soon to pave the way for new units of 3 storey luxury bungalows.

In a press conference, after the Kampung Boundary eviction protest, Hindraf spokesman, N. Ganeson, warned
that “land grabbing” have become rampant in Malaysia.

“People are pushed out of their land, in the name of development”, he said.
