CJ SteveSome one thousand party supporters and well wishers attended a fund raising dinner organised by the Pasir Gudang Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) division, here, last weekend.
Many party supporters and well wishers were seen going on a shopping spree, crowding around the stalls to buy PKR published weekly, books and even Bersih 3.0 t-shirts set up at the entrance of the dinning hall.
National PKR leaders who spoke at the dinner, include PKR secretary general Saifuddin Nasution, Batu MP Tian Chua, Rawang state assemblyperson Gan Pei Nei, and PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli.
The speakers touched on the current issues that are causing hardships to the people, the state of affairs of the country and highlighting the many welfare benefits which the Pakatan ruled states have given to the people.
The speakers urged the people to step forward and vote for change to bring Pakatan into power in the coming 13 general election which is just round the corner.
CJMY spoke to Saifuddin, who told us that Pakatan is very upbeat in winning Johor in the 13GE as the wind of change to vote in Pakatan has hit Johor.
