Penang state government allocates RM1.75 million for schools in need for 2010. In this cheque presentation at SJK (T) Jalan Sungai, Deputy Chief Minister, Prof P. Ramasamy said that many Tamil schools in Penang are neglected by the federal government.
The state allocation to 30 such schools is to assist the schools to have better facilities for the students.
