Suaram reveals Scorpene’s scandalous documents

PETALING JAYA – The two key documents are Document 87 and Document 144 which scrutinizes the transactions and negotiations which took place leading to the purchase of the submarine.

There is no answers here in Malaysia, in spite of the questions raised towards the Scorpene submarine scandal said Suaram’s secretariat member, Cynthia Gabriel, while revealing two key documents in a press conference this morning.

The two key documents are Document 87 which details out the chronology of visits and future actions and various undertakings as well as negotiations with Malaysia’s Ministry of Defense and Perimekar.

The other document is Document 144 which has an envelope with a a sub folder entitled C4, sub folder entitled invoice, a PDF file and a USB drive. The most crucial documentary evidence found in this document is the existence of an invoice for an amount of  359,450.00 faxed by Terasasi Sdn Bhd to then chief executive officer of Thales International Asia, Bernard Baicco .
