Anwar: If Turkey can do it, so can we

JOHOR BAHRU – Anwar said, with the revenue of eighty billion from the petroleum industry, Malaysia should not be poor.

The Pakatan Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) held a fund raising dinner at the Cathay Restaurant in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru on June 16, 2012.

The dinner was a success with all 130 tables taken up.  More than 1400 supporters came to listen to speeches made by leaders such as PKR defacto leader Anwar Ibrahim and Batu MP Tian Chua.

Anwar stressed that the citizens must make a change now to ensure that the country is well managed.  He said with the revenue of eighty billion from the petroleum industry, Malaysia should not be poor.
