Allianz Malaysia Berhad Group (Allianz Malaysia), through its corporate social responsibility arm, Allianz4Good, recently organized a series of charity programs aimed at making a positive impact on the community.

These initiatives included providing groceries to welfare homes, orphanages, and centres for persons with disabilities, as well as distributing food and essentials to families in need.

Additionally, a generous donation from Allianz Malaysia employees was used to purchase Raya clothes for children at the Raudhatul Nurr Jannah welfare home.

Allianz4Good delivering groceries and essential support

Between 27th March and 14th April, Allianz4Good embarked on a mission to deliver one month’s worth of groceries to nine organizations, benefiting welfare homes, orphanages, and centres for persons with disabilities in the Klang Valley and Ipoh, Perak.

Collaborating with social organizations such as Persatuan Buku Jalanan Chow Kit, Pertubuhan Wanita Berdaya, and Pertubuhan Pendidikan Anak Cahaya Sabah, Allianz4Good extended its reach by distributing food and essentials to 800 families in need across Klang Valley, Sandakan, and Kedah.

A significant contribution of RM10,000 from Allianz Malaysia employees was presented to the Raudhatul Nurr Jannah welfare home to purchase Raya clothes for 65 children. This welfare home serves orphans and children from vulnerable backgrounds.

With the assistance of Allianz Malaysia volunteers, the children were given the opportunity to select their preferred Raya attire at Fashion Rasa Sayang on 2nd April, creating a memorable experience for them.

Fostering community spirit during Ramadhan

Allianz Malaysia launched additional initiatives during the holy month of Ramadhan, including a Ramadhan bazaar held at Stadium Shah Alam, Selangor, and Stadium Ipoh, Perak.

At these bazaars, free bubur lambuk was distributed to visitors, demonstrating Allianz Malaysia’s support for the community and spreading the love and joy of Ramadhan.

Furthermore, on 13th May 2023, Allianz Malaysia organized a Raya Celebration for the IDEAS Autism Centre, an organization dedicated to serving autistic children from underprivileged backgrounds.

As part of their online contest held on Facebook during Ramadhan, contest winners will have the opportunity to celebrate Hari Raya with the children from the IDEAS Autism Centre, providing individuals with a chance to give back to marginalized communities.

In 2022, Allianz Malaysia introduced Allianz4All Untuk Semua, a product concept that offers financial protections for all Malaysians based on Universal Values aligned with Islamic Financial Principles.

Through this initiative, a portion of the premiums from Allianz4All policyholders is allocated to the Claims Allocation Fund (CAF). In the event of an approved surplus, a portion of this surplus is donated to a charitable category chosen by the policyholder.

This unique approach ensures that policyholders not only benefit from the protection plan but also contribute to making a difference in society.
