McMillan Woods Global Awards 2012 honours visionaries

The McMillan Woods Awards 2012 hosted its annual gala dinner at Hilton Kuala Lumpur recently.

The inaugural highlights and recognises the achievements of the global leading business visionaries across all industry sectors and to honour their contributions toward the global economic development.

Also present for the prestigious McMillan Woods Global Awards 2012 was our deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator A. Kohilan Pillay whom later presented the awards to the recipients.

One of the recipients of The McMillan Woods Awards 2012 was chairman of Hancock Propsecting (Australia) Georgina Hope Rinehart, who is named by Forbes Asia & Business Review Weekly (BRW) as Australia’s wealthiest person and thereafter the world richest woman by BRW in May 2012.

Other well-known recipients include Amber Chia Academy founder and Malaysian supermodel Amber Chia, CEO of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia Dr Mohd Shukor to name a few.

McMillan Woods Global, is a global association based in Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur and headquartered in the Unite Kingdom is led by its president and founding member Raymond Liew.
