A lorry driver died after being caught in between the door of the prime mover and its main body in a storage yard in Jalan
Datuk Kayaman yesterday.
Azizan Ramli, 44, was found dead by his wife, Izyatun Mayuzia Che Saad, 30, at about 8.30am.
She had gone to look for her husband when he did not return home after leaving to wash the vehicle at about 5.30am.
Izyatun Mayuzia, when met by reporters here, said she did not rule out the possibility that door slammed into her husband as he was exiting the lorry.
She believed the lorry must have suddenly moved and caused the door to crush him because of the narrow passageway between the lorry and the side of a wall at the yard.
Azizan leaves behind four children, aged between three and seven years. Meanwhile, Padang Besar District Police chief, Supt Che Man Md Dros when met by reporters confirmed the incident and said investigations were still in
progress.
