The Ministry of Science and Technology has reported that a strong earthquake has occurred with magnitude 6.7 Richter scale in Northern Sumatra at 01.55 this morning. The earthquake epicenter is located at 2.9 North latitude and 97.6 East longitude. 363 km Southwest of Pulau Pangkor,Perak. Tremors were felt in parts of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Penang and Kedah.
