Superheroes and Cosplayers gather in Johor Bahru

JOHOR BAHRU – Superheroes, Anime characters came alive last weekend at a gathering organized by Johor Cosplayer, Anime & Gamers Group (JCAG). [VIDEO]

Super Heroes characters from comic books, Anime fans came alive at a shopping complex last weekend at a gathering organised by Johor Cosplayer, Anime & Gamers Group (JCAG).

The head of JCAG, Jimmy Tan said that the objective of JCAG is to gather all Cosplayers, Anime Fan (Otaku) & Gamers in Johor to meet.

It is also to promote and create CAG awareness in Johor.

For this event there were about 50 cosplayers and he is satisfied with the outcome.

There will be another similar gathering in August and the target is 100 cosplayers.

Other concurrent activities held were a coloring contest, children costume contest, anime-sketching and a blood donation drive for the Hospital Sultan Ismail blood bank.

Pelangi Management Services Sdn Bhd marketing manager Ishraqi Abu Bakar said the response received from participants was good.
