Raja Muda of Perlis visits armed forces on islands off Semporna

Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail today visited members of the armed forces on four islands
involved in the “Ops Pasir” operation.

involved in the “Ops Pasir” operation.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, who is also Commander of 504th Regiment Territorial Army, handed over “kuih raya” to soldiers on the islands, namely Sipadan, Kapalai, Mabul and Menampilik off Semporna.

The Raja Muda of Perlis released baby turtles into the sea off Pulau Sipadan and visited soldiers on Kapalai island.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin was later accompanied by Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil when he visited Mabul and Menampilik islands where the royal couple were greeted by villagers.

The Raja Muda of Perlis presented clothing to children on the islands and launched the love nature and turtle-safe campaign.

Present were Perlis State Secretary Azizan Hamid, Perlis police chief SAC Zull Aznam Haron and Universiti Malaysia Perlis vice-chancellor Prof Dr Kamarudin Hussin.
