Will Prime Minister Najib save three elephants from a life of torture?

Letter: Danga Bay Petting Zoo is by far one of the most cruel places I’ve ever visited, in fact it falls second after Friday Market back home in Cruelty.

Dear Prime Minister,

I thought you should see the totally independent comments below concerning the Danga Bay Zoo. They were obtained from the internet.

Would you agree anyone not helping these elephants must have a heart of stone?  Will you now give Aidil, Paloh and Jeli a fresh start in life at the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary?

We were to visit the Danga Bay Petting Zoo and by far it is one of the most cruel places I’ve ever visited, in fact it falls second after Friday Market back home in Cruelty, animals did have very tiny spaces to move, not very clean cages, misplacement of animal types. No doubt the zoo contained some of the most beautiful animals I’ve ever seen but I really hoped that they were in a better place.

The elephant seemed to be the least fortunate by having his two front legs and neck chained to the concrete floor

There was supposed to be an animal show later but luckily it rained and it was canceled and I decided not to stay and watch the later one because I have watched enough!

“The elephant seemed to be the least fortunate by having his two front

legs and neck chained to the concrete floor”

“think this place actually amounts to animal cruelty!”

“Most heartwrenchingly, the elephant was shacked so tightly that he could not

move at all inside his pen. From the animals’ behaviour, they were either

highly restless or were resigned to their fate”
