Jokes aside, M.A.C.C organised a comedy workshop

Some 30 enthusiastic people participated in a free comedy workshop organised by Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) during the JB Arts Festival on September 12, 2013.

The MACC trio, Douglas Lim, Kuah Jenhan and Phoon Chi Ho enthralled the audience with their wittiness and also with their knowledge of presenting the ‘punch’ in their jokes.

The workshop started with with two warm up sessions with words association’ and ‘lame props comments’.

Intensifying the process, the three trainers emphasised on the ‘I’ statement as one of the first step in creating jokes, followed by assumptions expected from the audience on this statement.
