Christmas Bazaar with a difference

JOHOR BAHRU, The lnternational Women’s Association of Johor Bahru (lWA) held their traditional Christmas Bazaar for charity on Nov 15 at the lobby corridor of the KSL Hotel & Resort.[VIDEO]

The lnternational Women’s Association of Johor Bahru (lWA) held their traditional Christmas Bazaar for charity on Nov 15 at the lobby corridor of the KSL Hotel & Resort.

The beneficiaries of this charity are JARO (Johor Area Rehabilitation Organization), BCSG-JB (Breast Cancer Support Group, JB), Berkat Children’s Home and the Palliative Care Association of Johor Bahru.

On sale were varieties of products ranging from jewellery, wines, freshly baked cookies & cakes, clothes, Household items and second hand goods.

IWA is a non-profit organization established in May 1999 to support expatriates living in Johor Bahru. It works to promote interaction amongst women of international backgrounds living in Johor Bahru and its surrounding areas.  Their fund raising activities were organized to aid local charities by providing items ranging from basic essentials for charitable homes and educational material for schools to special equipment required for healthcare.
