Malaysians urged to accept 1Malaysia concept

Malaysians have been urged to understand and accept the 1Malaysia concept via programmes like ‘Malam Aspirasi 1Malaysia’.

Deputy Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Maglin Dennis D’Cruz said the 1Malaysia concept calls on the people to think outside the box  and regard themselves as Malaysians.

“Unity is important to build a nation that is progressive, prosperous, safe and peaceful.

“This programme indirectly raises awareness on the need to support the creation of a united Malaysian race,” he said when opening ‘Malam Aspirasi 1Malaysia’ in Seksyen 24 here tonight.
