Prime Minister Najib Razak announced today that a 1Malaysia people’s housing project would be developed on a piece of land at the Sungai Besi airbase in Kuala Lumpur.
The government discussed the matter with several companies which include SP Setia, Sime Darby and Putrajaya Corp, to develop the project, dubbed Prima, on a social business concept, he said in an interview over Radio One FM at Seri
Pentas here.
The government had announced that the Royal Malaysia Air Force (RMAF) base in Sungai Besi will be relocated to Sendayan in Negeri Sembilan.
