The 20 children from Agathians Shelter welfare home in Petaling Jaya were all smiles as they were treated to a fun-filled day of activities at eCurve shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
The event was held as part of the mall’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year celebrations.
eCurve centre manager Azizul Hisham Ahmad said, “It is part of our annual efforts to reach out to the community and we are pleased to be able to spread some cheer during festive seasons with the children of Agathians Shelter as we ring in the Chinese New Year of the Horse.
“We certainly enjoyed spending time with the children and we hope this was a fun-filled and memorable experience for them as well.”
First the kids had a combat time playing thrilling rounds of laser tag games at the Laser Warzone, then went bouncing sky high on the bungee trampoline which gave them an exhilarating feeling of being up in the air.
The kids and their caretakers were then entertained with the highlight of eCurve Chinese New Year celebrations, An Operatic Dance performance which had dancers in traditional Chinese Opera costumes performed an energetic, colourful and modern dance.
The kids were later presented with Angpow and goodie bags.
The day came to an end as the kids and the caretakers were treated to a dinner at Pak John Steamboat & Yong Tao Foo restaurant at eCurve.
