In conjunction with the 100-year anniversary of Sun Yat Sen (Father of Modern China), the Johor Bahru Chinese (Tiong-Hua) Association in collaboration with the Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum and Southern college, will be organising activities to remember Sun Yat Sen during his stay in Johor between 1900 – 1910.
The Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum located at Jalan Ibrahim is organizing a 3 month special exhibition of Dr. Sun Yat Sen during his stay in Johor and Singapore.
There will also be a conference at the Southern College on 25 June.
The academic conference will be visited by eight scholars from around Asia Pacific to present their thesis on Dr. Sun Yat Sen.
