A disabled man was burned to death in a fire that destroyed his home at Mile 4 Jalan Kuantan-Sungai Lembing today.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Nazili Mahmood said Nazri Ismail, 40, who was paralysed, was living alone.
His sister Azha Ismail, 37, said she last met Nazri when she sent him food last night.
She was told of the 10.30am fire and tried to enter the house but was stopped by residents because of the danger.
Firemen found his severely charred body after putting out the fire.
