BHPetrol Orange Run 2018 raises RM30,000

More than 4,000 runners participating in the 13th edition of 11-km BHPetrol Orange Run at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya on 30th September 2018.

The 13th edition of BHPetrol Orange Run presented a total of RM30,000 to three charitable homes, with each receiving RM10,000 following the completion of the run on 30th September 2018.

The three recipients were Persatuan Orang-Orang Cacat Anggota Malaysia, Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras and Pusat Jagaan Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Trinity Komuniti Selangor.

“We are very pleased to celebrate the 13th year of our BHPetrol Orange Run with the strong turnout of participants, all coming for a good cause this year. This initiative not only promotes more active lifestyles but also allows us to give back to the less fortunate, as the proceeds go towards deserving charitable organisations,” said BHPetrol managing director Tan Kim Thiam.

The 11-km Orange Run was flagged off at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara with more than 4,000 runners this year. Participants as young as 13 years old joined the run with eight categories, such as Men Open & Veteran, Women Open & Veteran, Boys & Girls and Men & Women International Open.

The winners of each category received cash prizes worth a total of RM50,000, along with BHPetrol vouchers.
