UNFAIR TO EMPLOYEES OF RHB EASY – Under One Roof?

Here I received a report from an individual recently saying that one of the Bank in Malaysia is now over-limit abuse the employment rules.
During the interview, she said Maulidur Rasul, Thaipusum, and Hari Wilayah day in Kuala Lumpur; they need to be on duty for 8-10 hours. For them, they need to work, and is a ‘MUST’ word from the management.
Is this Malaysia to Malaysian employees? During her first employment after her job vacancy aplication in RHB EASY, she said that an interview with her manager said is a must to work during the public holidays include the Labour Day, Wesak Day, Deepavali, Thaipusam and other public holiday listed, additional there is no replacement off day. She said, she being told by one of the staff as all of them having the same problem and they are employed under RHB bank. In other way of the corporate name as EASY by RHB. Most of the staff resigned from this so called ‘under one roof’ in Pink of ’EASY’ bank because of unfair to the other employees in PINK and employees work in RHB EASY Post Office which is in the Pejabat Pos Malaysia follow their working hours in rules of working time from Pejabat Pos Malaysia.
She said, she want to off for Thaipusum celebration in Batu Caves for some prayers but she need to open the outlet on the same day. This make her meet up with one of our Citizen Journalist and express her voice to us. “Is unfair for me, and others to on duty for 8 to 10 hours while the upper management are off work during the break from 4-7 February 2012. I am not sure upper management include her Managers, the one bank in ‘Blue’ and the normal EASY staff working at Pos Malaysia, is not the matter of making it serious of achieve sales, but they must think of us as human bening – loving kindness indeed” In this matter, she also said that staff who work in Pejabat Post Malaysia are in the middle of Happy Mood SmS’s to her saying they are now at Genting for holiday, some at overseas as their working hours follow the Pejabat Post Malaysia working hours.
What is this? Is it fair? This statement out from the voice of the employee, added ‘We all under the one roof by RHB Bank, not under the Pejabat Post Malaysia nor etc’. She hope the management will take some action of making the bank as a professional banking in Malaysia to achieve the ISO. In some opinion, being understood to other races and religion is the great wisdom of all as other bank are also OFF duty to their staff, but in EASY they need to work and unfair to some of the employees under the same banking group which is not working at the Pos Malaysia kiosk.
Next, the matter is judge by some of the opinion which are the staff of EASY are under employed by RHB bank; in the employment letter too, but then after her working through, she confuse and start to voice out (The one building in blue color or the one in ‘Pink’ RHB Easy? or partner with Post Malaysia? If’ it is hired under RHB bank, why this matter still appear here?
If RHB EASY are separated according by color of Pink, Tesco, Pejabat Pos Malaysia, LRT … Did the staff are under one roof? Why some of them are in off working during the public holidays, and some are not? Said anonymous to our journalist, she are not allow to be replace her off day of Maulidur Rasul, Thaipusum, and other public holidays listed.

In this case, we the Malaysiakini CJ’s yet not discover the truth about this, we will continue interview other employees about this matter very soon, in order for us to proof the truth for public. This is not a matter of working and to get sales, but is matter of life, love, understanding and responsibility from employer to employees.
