The Johor Bahru city council is currently conducting a business premises and advertisement census which started on May 9 and ends on May 13.
The census will cover all business sectors premises within the city which is carried out by city council officers.
The purpose of carrying out the census is to update the business community data and information besides identifying the needs of the business community for future development programmes.
The census will enable the city council to identify and plan the needs of the business community which is in line with the city council business transformation plan.
The business community has been advised not to be unduly alarmed and worried about the census exercise as there are no enforcement actions involved.
