UMNO Kedah to honour students excelled in SPM

600 students who excelled in last year’s SPM examination will be celebrated in an award ceremony organized by UMNO Kedah at  Dewan Seri Zaleha, Naza near the Gurun industrial area.

The president of the UMNO state education biro,  Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir said, each recipient, will receive RM200 and a certificate, for scoring straight ‘A’s and it is UMNO Kedah’s effort to encourage the  students to maintain academic excellence.

Kedah UMNO  liaison chief, Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah will b presenting the certificates to the students.

On a separate note, Aziz also said that apart from the award of excellence, free tuition classes are being offered via the State Excellence Education Association at several Parliamentary areas in Kedah.
