Young woman escapes car fire near Gurun, Kedah

The entire journey from Taiping to Gurun seemed uneventful until her car brakes stopped functioning properly at about 9:30 a.m. near KM 79. Stopping by the road side to check, she got out and noticed smoke coming from the car.

A young woman was saved from being burnt to death in her car near Gurun yesterday morning.

Nor Hidayah Mohd Zuki, 25, was on her way to Langkawi to attend a course with a friend.

“I didn’t expect a fire” Hidayah said.

Hidayah’s car broke out into a full blown fire and nothing was saved as there was no time.
