Healthcare at your doorstep in Johor Bahru

Healthcare at your doorstep in Johor Bahru

You can beat the long queues in the hospitals by getting the prescribed medication to be delivered to your doorsteps.

Would you like to have your prescribed medication delivered by post to your doorstep?

It is made possible through a service launched by POS  Malaysia in Putrajaya in 2009. Now this service is available in Johor Bahru at Sultanah Aminah, Muar and Hospital Sultan Ismail.

Patients who are on long term drug prescriptions excluding those with chronic illnesses, can have their medication posted to them for just a service charge of RM 5 in Peninsula Malaysia and RM 8 in Sabah and Sarawak.

During the launch of this service at the Mahmoodiah Health Clinic, District Health Officer,  Dr Roslinda A. Rahman said that this service is available as of today and all that is required is to do is one time subscription for the service and subsequently to inform the clinic pharmacy that they need their medication seven days in advance.

This service makes it very convenient for patients who are on continuous drug therapy to get their medication without the hassle of  travelling to hospital and to go through long a queue.

To subscribe to this service, you can apply at Mahmoodiah outpatient clinic pharmacy counter or logon to www.poson-line.com.my . For more information, please call 07-226676/240.
