Domino’s Pizza recently initiated Unsung Heroes, a dedicated effort to recognise and appreciate everyday heroes for their invaluable contributions and service to their family and society.
The initiative kicked off with a series of outreach to servicemen, single mothers, single fathers, policemen, fire fighters, taxi drivers, teachers and volunteers as a gesture to acknowledge and express their gratitude to these outstanding individuals. These everyday heroes were presented with Domino’s vouchers and pizzas’ as acknowledgement and well-deserved recognition for their countless sacrifices and contributions.
Shamsul Amree, Senior General Manager, Operations, Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore, said, “These individuals are the average Malaysians we all have come across in our daily lives whom make sacrifices every day for the betterment of their lives and the society. Through this small gesture, we hope to show them how thankful we are for their presence and that their efforts and sacrifices are valued.”
“Through the Unsung Heroes initiative, our wish is to create more awareness to appreciate and recognize the heroes around us. As how we are humbled and inspired by these individuals, we hope that the
special video will also inspire others and serve as a reminder to care for one another, especially during tough times. It is important to note that sometimes one small, random act of kindness can go a long way. The Unsung Heroes initiative will be an ongoing community project as we aim to reach out and recognize more of these everyday heroes.” added Shamsul Amree.
Launched together with The Unsung Heroes initiative is Domino’s latest one-of-a-kind offer, Bonus for All in a bid to provide affordability as well as to show appreciation for the continuous support from its loyal pizza lovers.
