Fly2Ipoh revives idle Ipoh-Johor Bahru air route

Travelling by air from Johor Bahru to Ipoh has been made possible again by an Ipoh-based air service company, with promotions in full gear.

A new Ipoh-based air-charter service has revived the Ipoh-Johor Bahru air route sector, which has been idle for some five years.

Tactfully named Fly2Ipoh, the airbuses offer to and fro flight services connecting Ipoh and Subang, and also Ipoh and Johor Bahru.

However, at the moment being, Fly2Ipoh, which began its operations on March 11, will only be serving two flights a week.

The reviving the Ipoh-JB sector was motivated by the strong results achieved when Air Asia serviced that sector back in 2006, which had a ‘load factor more than 90 per cent’.

The flight time for the Ipoh-JB route is at 5.15 pm, with the return flight being at 7.05 pm.

The Subang-Ipoh flight is at 4.15 pm, with the return flight from Ipoh scheduled at 8.55 pm.

Flight prices, based on current promotions, stands at RM58.80 for a to and fro trip from Subang to Ipoh, and RM 288 for a to and fro flight from Johor Bahru to Ipoh.

For more information, one can visit www.fly2ipoh.com or visit the Fly2Ipoh office at the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport.

Booking deadlines for the current promotion period ends on March 20.
