Xixili Returns With New Look for Spring Summer 2017

KUALA LUMPUR – Home-grown Malaysian label Xixili unveiled the eagerly awaited and much anticipated Spring Summer (S/S) 2017 Collection in its 5th annual lingerie fashion show

Home-grown Malaysian label Xixili unveiled the eagerly awaited and much anticipated Spring Summer (S/S) 2017 Collection in its 5th annual lingerie fashion show themed “Wanderlust, Come Away With Me” at Makespace, Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur on 18th May 2017.

Once the show began, emcee Jenn Chia, a multi-talented YouTuber, singer and song writer, surprised guests with an opening song performance. She sang “Tonight, You Belong To Me” and played with her ukulele which drew loud applause.

Then 14 international models came out on the runway making the atmosphere electrifying as they breezed through the runway with breathtaking lingerie designs for the wonderful night.

A four-piece live band led by Xiong entertained the guests with the best bossa nova summer music as the models showcased a total of 56 lingerie sets from everyday basic wear to those for special occasions with an extensive of brassieres styles and lounge wear.

The 2017 spring summer palette consists of shades of pastel pink, sweet ivory and champagne gold, all with an array of intertwined delicate embroidery laces and lustre microfiber fabrics, and includes the statement lingerie pieces in animal leopard prints.

The sponsors for this event were Number 76 (hair styling), Benefit Cosmetics (make-up) and Makespace as the event venue partner. Other co-partners were Arimino Tokyo, Juiceworks, PST Travel, Saito College and Strip Malaysia.
