Miss CosmoWorld 2019 pageant launched

KUALA LUMPUR – After the press launch, the candidates selection began with the 13 Malaysian finalists

The 2019 edition of Miss CosmoWorld beauty pageant has been launched at centre court of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on May 25, 2019.

Speaking at the Miss CosmoWorld 2019 Press Launch cum Malaysia Candidates Selection, the former beauty queen of Miss Chinese Cosmo International 2004 and veteran beauty pageant organizer with 15 years of experience outlined the purpose and objectives the pageant seeks to groom and best represent international beauty queens who are well-disciplined, independent, ambitious, passionate about lives and with great personality.

“Miss CosmoWorld 2019 is targeting to recruit 30 contestants from around the world, with the grand final taking place on early November 2019 in a 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur,” Carrie said.

Carrie also invited sponsors and interested parties particularly those from the beauty industry, lifestyle and property development to join her to make this world event truly remarkable.

Contestants must be single ladies, must never been pregnant and ages between 18 and 28 years old with height of not less than 160 cm (5’ 3”)  

Grand prizes comprising cash RM50,000 and targeting to reach RM100,000 and sponsored prizes worth RM500,000 to RM1 million comprising education scholarship, luxury trip, beauty treatments, car, condo and other luxury prizes will be awarded to all winners of Miss CosmoWorld 2019.

Besides the top three winners, there will also be 10 subsidiary titles to be awarded

After the press launch, the Malaysia candidates selection began with the 13 Malaysian finalists introduced themselves and paraded on the catwalk clad in a new Malaysian brand fashion wear from Luxx Grand Couture by Datin Sri Boey.

The judges then announced the top three winners. They were 28-year-old freelance model Honeey Kui, 23-year-old business development manager Gloria Jane Fernandez and 20-year-old makeup artist Helen Ching.

Only two of them will eventually be picked to represent Malaysia in the grand finals of Miss CosmoWorld 2019.

Gloria Jane Fernandez also won the Best Catwalk subsidiary title while Helen Ching grabbed one of two subsidiary titles for Best Luxx Grand Couture Influence and the other was won by 23-year-old event organiser Vsun Cheong.
