Tears of joy as Alexis SueAnn is crowned Miss World Malaysia 2019

KUALA LUMPUR – Alexis won RM30,000 cash, a diamond ring worth RM25,000 from Ceres Jewels and a free 1-month trip to London

Actress and TV host Alexis SueAnn, 24, shed tears of joy when she won the Miss World Malaysia 2019 title at the Mega Star Arena, Viva Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 6.

The 5’ 7.3” tall lass was overcome with emotion when her name was announced as the winner of the pageant. She had earlier picked up two subsidiary titles of Top Talent and People’s Choice.

Second place went to 26-year-old Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) master graduate Juliana Sambai Anak Sibat of mixed Iban and Kiput heritage from Kuala Tutoh, Sarawak, while 22-year-old student Melissa Jespoh Raj from Klang, Selangor came third.

Alexis won RM30,000 cash, a diamond ring worth RM25,000 from Ceres Jewels and a free 1-month trip to London to represent Malaysia at the Miss World grand finals on December 2019.

Last year Alexis participated in the Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 and won the first runner-up. Through sheer willpower, perseverance and determination, she returned to compete this year at Miss World Malaysia 2019 and won the pageant.

Miss World Malaysia 2018 Larissa Ping, Miss World Malaysia 2014 Dewi Liana Seriestha, Malaysian supermodel Amber Chia and Ceres Jewels CEO Dato Sri Navneet Goenka were among the panel judges for the pageant.

Alexis SueAnn received a diamond ring worth RM25,000 from Ceres Jewels CEO Dato Sri Navneet Goenka as part of her prize package for winning Miss World Malaysia 2019.
