India’s Sandra Soman, 22, an actress, was crowned Miss CosmoWorld 2019 beating out 24 other global contestants in the prestigious pageant held at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur on Nov 1.
She was crowned by last year’s winner Miss Indonesia Delvia Wirajay.
Sandra who stands 169cm tall (5’ 6.5”) also won the Miss Glamorous subsidiary title.
Her prize package is worth a total of RM235,198 and includes RM30,000 cash by CL Skin Sdn Bhd, 5-carat diamond ring worth RM58,800 by The Love Gem, vacation trip to Italy worth RM30,000 and crown worth RM5,000 by Myanmar Starz & Beauty.
Miss South Korea Shin Chaein, 22, a model, came in second while Miss Philippines Jessa Mae, 21, also a model, was placed third.
Shin Chaein also won the Miss Beautiful Smile subsidiary title.
Malaysia finished with two subsidiary titles – Miss Charming won by Honeey Kui, 28, a model, and Best National Costume won by Gloria Jane, 23, also a model.
The beauty pageant featured three contestants from Malaysia, two each from Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and China.
The Miss CosmoWorld pageant, now in its third year, was organised by international beauty queen and pageant founder Carrie Lee, who is managing director of CL Skin Sdn Bhd.

2nd runner up: Jessa Mae, 21, Miss Philippines
