Malaysia to host Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2020 finals

KUALA LUMPUR – The 2020 Asia Pacific Prince & Princess one of the world’s top children’s talent competitions, will be hosting its Asia Pacific grand finals in Malaysia for the first time

The Malaysian finals of the Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2020, an international kids modelling and talent competition, takes centre stage at Quill City Mall. Kuala Lumpur on February 1 and 2, 2020.

The 2020 Asia Pacific Prince & Princess competition, one of the world’s top children’s talent competitions, will be hosting its Asia Pacific grand finals in Malaysia for the first time.

The event will take place in the historic city of Malacca from June 15 to 21, 2020 and will see participants from more than 30 countries from across the Asia-Pacific region vying for honours.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at ParisZki Talent’s Touch studio in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur on Jan 22, 2020.

The press conference also announced ParisZki Talent’s Touch as organiser and Yummy Mummy Club as co-organiser for the finals of the Lunar New Year-themed Malaysia edition of Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2020 competition and the International Charity Bazaar 2020 that will be held at the Quill City Mall in Kuala Lumpur on February 1 and 2, 2020.

The Asia Pacific Prince & Princess Fashion Week 2020 which will be staged in Kuala Lumpur on April 2020, was also announced during the press conference. The first batch of 21 kid models from Malaysia was revealed to members of the media present.

For the Malaysia finals at Quill City Mall, the main event which is the Prince & Princess Cheongsam-Samfu 2020 / Ambassador 2020 competition will be divided over two days. The first day will see participants competing in the talent competition while day two will focus on modelling (kids catwalk).

The talent competition is open to participants who will be given the opportunity to showcase their talents in singing, music, dancing, magic and other variety acts.

The crowning and prize-giving ceremonies will be conducted immediately after the events on both days.

The two grand champions will represent Malaysia at the Asia Pacific Prince & Princess 2020 grand finals in Malacca and also at the C Plan/Kids Supermodels 2020 finals in Beijing, China.

The Prince & Princess Cheongsam-Samfu 2020 competition is organised by ParisZki Talent’s Touch with Yummy Mummy Club as co-organiser.

The two-day International Charity Bazaar 2020 will host 25 vendors, with all proceeds from the donations go to Pertubuhan Sayang Malaysia (PERSAMA), an NGO which is focused on helping children with special needs especially autism.

There will also be a host of other activities including festival fashion shows, dances, workshops, live performances and lucky draws.

Performing live at the event will be TV3’s Mentor Legenda finalist Sarah Fazny, celebrated singer-songwriter Hasnol Ariff, upcoming child singer Yuba Boukendoul and Malaysian boy band Outbreak.

Among the fashion shows presented will be by Luire, Tradisindo and Kurasi, and a special “Trend Kebaya 2020” showcase by Rumah Kebaya Malaysia.

The workshops will feature programs such as Caribbean & Arabic cooking style, Austrian pancakes in the making, Italian cooking show, Italian decoupage, soap making and henna painting, among others.

The following categories which will be in contention at the Prince & Princess Cheongsam-Samfu 2020 competition are as follows:

– Mini Miss Cheongsam (3 – 7 years-old)
– Mini Mr Samfu (3 – 7 years-old)
– Little Miss Cheongsam (8 – 12 years-old)
– Little Mr Samfu (8 – 12 years-old)
– Miss Pre-Teen Cheongsam (13 – 17 years-old)
– Mr Pre-Teen Samfu (13 – 17 years-old)
– Miss Cheongsam (18 years-old & above)
– Mr Samfu (18 years-old & above)
– Grandma/Mom & Grandchild/Child Cheongsam/Samfu Walk
– Talent
