Southern sector’s KTM Intercity train service restored

The Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Intercity train service in the southern sector, which was disrupted due to the floods since Jan 30, has been restored since 1pm today.

The Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Intercity train service in the southern sector, which was disrupted due to the floods since Jan 30, has been restored since 1pm today.

In a statement released here today, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) said the service was restored after repair works of the tracks at the Segamat-Batu Anam route in Johor was completed at 12.06pm today.

However, KTMB expected a delay of between 30 minutes and one hour in arrival and departure time as the train had to slow down when passing the area.It expected to fully address the delay by Monday and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
