Part of Miss Universe Malaysia e-Gala ticket sales will go to charity

This year’s eGala will be hosted by local personality Will Quah, and will feature performances by teen vocalist, Aqeesh.


The Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 e-Gala tickets are now available for purchase on the Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation (MUMO) website www.missuniversemalaysia.com.my, and 20% of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association Kuala Lumpur & Selangor.

The donation is MUMO’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to improve society and contribute towards sustainable development.

The pay-per-view event will stream live on the MUMO website on 5th September 2020 at 5pm. The public could watch the live-streamed competition by purchasing tickets to the show.

Open to viewers worldwide, early bird tickets are priced at RM15 for purchases made from 17th– 31st August 2020, while tickets purchased from 1st – 5th September 2020 are priced at RM20. Each registered account may only purchase one ticket per user

Only the finalists and the panel of judges will be present in line with physical distancing measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The winner will represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe competition. She will also receive a cash prize and sponsored prizes with a combined value of RM180,000 and a full education scholarship from HELP University.

The judging panel of the competition will consist of highly respected and recognised individuals chosen for their extensive knowledge and expertise. Among them are actor, director and producer Dato’ Hans Isaac, Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 Deborah Henry, Carven Ong Couture creative designer Carven Ong, Shawn Cutler Group of Salons founder, creative director and celebrity stylist Shawn Loong.
