Students to the fore

A group of final year students from SEGI College has teamed up with with National Cancer Council (MAKNA) to increase public awareness and to generate funds for cancer.

Hands For Cancer is a three-day event organised by a group of final year students from SEGI College Subang Jaya with the aim of increasing public awareness of and to generate funds for cancer treatment in partnership with the National Cancer Council (MAKNA).

Hands For Cancer will be held on the First Floor of the New Wing at the One Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. The  event starts January 14 (Friday) and ends January 16, from 10am to 10pm.

To this point, Hands For Cancer has already generated funds up to RM10,000, partly from major corporate donors including Taliworks Corp. Bhd., Benalec Holdings Bhd. and Chester Management Services, of which 100 percent of all collected funds will be directed to MAKNA.
