MCKL holding free live webinar on reviewing the 2020 U.S. Election

The 2020 election campaign was long and brutal, unfolding before a backdrop of death and economic decline. After one of the most controversial elections in recent history, the American democracy has been challenged in several aspects. However, scholars predict that threats we have seen recently are only just the beginning.

It will be featuring speaker Dr. Stephen J. Farnsworth, Professor of Political Science and International Affairs & Director, Center for Leadership and Media Studies, University of Mary Washington.

He will be presenting on the differences between American and Westminster democracy, scrutinise the role the media played in the 2020 U.S election cycle and explain the challenges American democracy is about to face.
