Hundreds of commuters stuck at the Masjid Jamek station at the moment waiting for the train heading towards Sri Petaling since 5.15 pm today.
Komunitikini’s reporter who happens to be in the Masjid Jamek station reported that the commuters has been waiting for more than an hour.
According to Rapid KL’s tweeter, the disruption only affected the AG Line (Ampang Line). The tweet read: Faulty train being recovered.Delays expected.
RapidKL spokesperson, Haliza Abd. Hamid also responded by saying the problem only affected the Ampang Line.
“The train on the way to Seri Petaling is having a technical problem and is being sorted out at the moment,” said Haliza who also assured there is no issues with the LRT system.
Rapid KL tweeted around 6.25pm that the Ampang line service back to normal and it will take some time to clear congestion on platform.
The first train on Ampang Line heading towards Seri Petaling arrived at 6.30pm. Most passengers had got on to the train.
