Are you the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022?

Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) is looking for the next Miss Universe Malaysia 2022.

The beauty pageant which returning after a hiatus is in search of confident and fearless females who aspire to become the next Miss Universe and into the spotlight.

Those interested to take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity should take part in the much-anticipated national auditions which will take place on the date, time and location stated below.

  • Date : March 5 (Sat) & March 6 (Sun), 2022
  • Time:  10am – 5pm (Sat) and 9am – 12pm (Sun)
  • Venue:  Level 43A Auditorium, MYEG Tower, Empire City, No 8, Jalan Damansara, PJU 8, Petaling Jaya.

Interested contestants are required to be well-groomed with make-up and high heels, and to bring along original and photocopy of MyKad and three recent photos of face, mid-length and full-length shot.

They are also required to do Covid self-test before attending the national audition. Below are the requirements set by MUMO for those who are interested to participate in the auditions.

  • Non-Muslim Malaysian female citizen;
  • Never been married or divorced or have had a child;
  • Age 18 and under 27;
  • Height of at least 168cm and above;
  • Able to communicate in either English, Malay, Mandarin or Tamil
  • Able to personify all the values and attributes of Miss Universe Malaysia such as confidence, strong work ethics, commitment, professionalism, talent, grace and beauty

Miss Universe Malaysia is a prestigious pageant and reality TV event that was introduced in 1962 and revamped in 2010. The pageant which is conducted annually was conceptualised to provide a platform for young, ambitious Malaysian women to represent their nation on the international stage.

The winner of the Miss Universe Malaysia title will represent Malaysia at the international Miss Universe pageant. The winner will be groomed to become a public figure, and have a ready platform to brand herself and champion a cause close to her heart.

She will also receive opportunities to travel abroad and network with prominent, influential figures all over the world, work with leading industry players and indirectly become the face of the organization.
